SINFUL DAY

It start with not waking up when I should (as always).
Then 2 donuts (amounted to 400 kal?)
that caused me to leave house really late ( 9 am, when office start at 8.30 am)
at work, still not finishing the competitive review cause I'm too busy organising lunch for fri, cake for mon (what important tasks, eh...)
arrive home at 10 for another 2 donuts for supper!!! (another 400 kal, aaarrgghh...!!!)

* forgive me God for I have sin. My last confession was 10 years ago.... *

A LOVE THAT WILL LAST

A friend (a fellow mature-girl-looking-for-true-love)pointed out this Renee Olstead's song to me today, and I jokingly commented she's pretty mushy. But after I checked it out, have to admit, I do agree with her. So here's the lyric, that represents something in all of us, the denial-hopeless-romantic within.

I want a little something more
Don't want the middle or the one before
I don't desire a complicated past
I want a love that will last

Say that you love me
Say I'm the one
Don't kiss and hug me and then try to run
I don't do drama
My tears don't fall fast
I want a love that will last

(Chorus)
I don't want a just a memory
Give me forever
Don't even think about saying good-bye
Cuz I just want one love to be enough
And remain in my heart till I die

So call me romantic
Oh I guess that's so
There’s something more that you oughta know
I'll never leave you
So don't even ask
I want a love that will last

Forever

I want a love that will last

(Chorus)
I don't want a just a memory
Give me forever
Don't even think about saying good-bye
Cuz I just want one love to be enough
And remain in my heart till I die

So there's just a little more that I need
I wanna share all the air that you breathe
I'm not the kinda girl to complicate the past
I want a love that will last

Forever

DESTINY

don't think I believe in it. When someone become successful in his/her life, I think the biggest contributor is their attitude and spirit. They must feel it within their heart, that they have the ability to be larger than life and they use it.
They make an effort to reach what they want, sometimes need a huge one, where one has to sacrifice a lot of things. But sometimes it's so small that they feel that they're just breeze through and making it still, somehow.

Still, it's the confidence in oneself and the energy of never giving up, whatever the obstacle is, that make someone, a real somebody in life. Whether it's the somebody that's on everyone's lips all over the world, like Zidane (in the spirit of the World Cup =D) or it's the unsung heroes (whose name no one's remembering) that relentlessly 'fight' for a better education in the remote area of Kalimantan.

That's what I want to achieve in my life. I know I have it in me, just like everybody else's, but the challenge is, whether I would actually make it, since I still need to work on my attitude and confidence.

I guess Nike's or Adidas' marketing/advertising have captured the best advise for me : 'Just Do It' coz 'Impossible Is Nothing'
